FAQs
Can Subscription Boxes be shipped everywhere?
No, boxes cannot be shipped outside of the US or to the following US states at this time: AR, CT, DE, HI, MS, NH, NJ, RI, SD, UT, WV. They also cannot be shipped to a PO Box.
Can I gift a subscription?
You bet! There is an option at check-out to indicate whether the purchase is a gift for someone else (so long as they are in the states we can ship to). Follow the instructions for providing the recipient’s contact information.
Are there any restrictions on who can receive a box?
Yes, boxes are for adults 21+ only. An adult 21+ must also be present to sign for and accept delivery.
When I can expect to receive my box?
Tracking information will be provided at the time of shipping so you can easily keep an eye on when to expect your special delivery. Generally, boxes will be delivered near the end of the first week of each month. Any delays will be communicated to you.
Note the cutoff for new signups is two days prior to the end of each month to receive the next month's box. So, for example, if you sign up for a box on May 30th, your first box will be delivered in July.
Can I return a box?
We can't imagine you would ever want to return your gorgeous box, but if you are dissatisfied with your Book Society purchase for any reason, please contact us immediately at hello@booksociety.social. We do not accept returns.
