The Read to Lead Difference
Most corporate training is generic, and forgotten by Friday. Read to Lead is specific, memorable, and genuinely enjoyable — grounded in a great book, honest reflection, and a facilitator who has sat in the seats your leaders sit in.

Signature Workshop
The core experience
A facilitated half- or full-day built around one theme and one book, blending teaching, honest discussion, guided reflection, and hands-on practice. Choose a half-day for a focused single theme, or a full day to go deeper with a second theme and more applied practice. Delivered on-site, virtually, or hosted with us at Book Society. Your team leaves having practiced something, not just heard it.

Cohort Series
A leadership journey, not a one-off
Four sessions over 6–12 weeks that move a group through the full arc — Leading Yourself, Leading Others, Leading Your Team, Leading Change — each anchored to a different theme and book. Small commitments between sessions build accountability, and by the end every participant leaves with a personal leadership plan. Ideal for managers, high-potentials, and emerging-leader programs.

Corporate Book Club
Leadership development on repeat
A curated, facilitated book club for your team: we choose the titles, supply the books (ask about our Book & Wine boxes), and lead the monthly conversation, in person or virtually. Low lift for you, steady momentum for your people, and a culture of reading and reflection that compounds over time.

Keynote / Lunch & Learn
A spark to start the conversation
A high-energy 60–90 minute talk built around one book and one idea — perfect to open a leadership offsite, energize an all-hands, or fill a lunch hour with something worth remembering. Your team leaves with a shared reference and a reason to keep talking. A great first taste before a deeper engagement.
The Approach
Every session starts with a leadership theme and an anchoring book. You choose the theme; we match the book and, where it helps, a proven framework. The book supplies the ideas. Guided reflection supplies the mirror. Expert facilitation turns it into how your people lead.
Leading Yourself
Voice & courage, self-awareness, meaning & renewal.
Anchors like Playing Big, Atlas of the Heart

Frameworks such as the Enneagram are also applied where they fit.
"The purpose of learning isn't to affirm our beliefs; it's to evolve our beliefs."
— Adam Grant, Think Again
Common Questions
Who is it for?
Teams and leaders at every level — especially managers, emerging leaders, women's leadership groups, and culture-driven organizations.

Does everyone have to read the whole book?
No. We scale the reading from a short curated excerpt to the full book, depending on your team's time.
Where does it happen?
Your office, virtually, or at Book Society in Berkeley — a memorable off-site in its own right.
How many people?
From an intimate leadership team to a large group. Cohorts and the Team Dynamics Intensive are best kept small (roughly 8–20) for depth.
