World on Fire with Poets Rachel Richardson and Matthew Zapruder

Kick off National Poetry month with a raw and inspiring evening of poetry and conversation about life in these tumultuous times. Join local award-winning poet Rachel Richardson, whose latest collection, Smother, released in February, and fellow editor / poet, Matthew Zapruder, whose latest collection, I Love Hearing Your Dreams, released to much acclaim in Fall 2024.

The two will explore the challenges of how we live and raise our children in, and for, a world that is burning. They will also explore ways of finding hope, love, kindness and compassion in the every day through the craft of creative writing.
