About the event
The Wandering Book Club was built on a simple idea: great books deserve great settings. On Sunday, August 9, we're taking that out into the wild — across the bay and onto Angel Island.
Our read for the day is Take Me With You by Steven Rowley — a warm, funny, and quietly moving novel about the unlikely connections that find us when we need them most. A perfect book for salt air and good company.
We'll meet at 9am at Rustic Bakery in Tiburon for informal coffee and breakfast treats (on your own) before making our way to the ferry terminal. Once on the island, we'll set out on eBikes for a guided loop — 5.5 scenic miles with stops along the way. Our private picnic area will be waiting when we complete our tour: lunch, wine and NA beverages, and a facilitated discussion of the book. Then there will…
