Get ready to take your book club experience off the page and into the wild with our latest meetup of The Wandering Book Club! We're stepping outside the store and into a real-life adventure through gorgeous landscapes in the heart of Berkeley.
This month's adventure will be led by Elizabeth Boults and Chip Sullivan--local landscape designers, artists and authors of Wisdom of Place. The book inspires you to rediscover the sacredness of the everyday landscapes surrounding us to shed light on the ecological imperatives of our time. Drawn from the union of art, nature, and metaphysics, it presents some of the myths and legends of antiquity as they might be recognized by contemporary earth-shapers.
The adventure ends where all good stories do: at Book Society. We’ll loop back to the store for mimosas (or NA sparkly), book signing with the authors and a few blissful moments of browsing before we open for the…
